I stripped the old garlands & added blue & sliver & lots of sparkle!
I decked the halls & sang along with Harry as I did. (Harry Connick Jr is maybe my favorite Christmas music.)
And the results:
We like it so much we may forgo the memory ornament collection this year & redo the tree as well!

And you know, I'm finding that less is more this Christmas. I packed away about 3/4 of the stuff I uaually put out and am happier and more peaceful.
The blue is just beautiful. Very calming.

It's official....the tree will be blue, silver & white as well! I'm going to be working on some Czech glass "icicles" today....since I"m snowed in anyway!!

There is a Target store not to far from work. Hmmmm...I could zip over on the lunch half hour...wonder if I could speed sparkle?!

I love the blue and silver! Can't wait to put up our tree this week ... it's spiral shaped with silver branches mixed with the green. We then add blue lights. Sometimes I add ornaments ... sometimes not. It's fun to make it special each year.
I think it looks beautiful! I used blue and green in my decorations!
